ViewSonic’s VNB100 and VNB101 netbooks have finally gone on sale, well, at least in Taiwan and the good news is that both models are on sale for far less than the MSRP and many local computer shops are discounting both models heavily.

The more basic model of the two, the VNB100 is retailing for as little as NT$12,499 (€262/$382), although the only feature that sets it apart from most other netbooks is an ExpressCard 34 slot, but this might be appealing enough for some.

The higher-end model, the VNB101 is slightly more expensive at NT$14,200 (€298/$434), but this is still a very reasonable price considering the fairly nice and slim design and the fact that it has an Atom N280 processor, rather than the VN100′s Atom N270 processor.

Both models come with 1GB of DDR2 memory and a 160GB hard drive. You can find the product page for the VNB100 here and the VNB101 here
