The at least by some eagerly awaited Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 has finally been unboxed on video and for those of you that are looking forward to this updated Windows Mobile devices from Sony Ericsson, this is the first glimpse of what’s on offer.
The Unwired has gotten their hands on an Xperia X2 and has kindly unboxed it for us. It’s not in the final retail packaging and the Unwired mentions that it’s a sample for network approval and in this specific case it’s a German version.

The video is a little bit dry, but it gives a good overview of all the features of the handset unlike some unboxings. The new screen looks pretty good, especially as it’s flat with the front of the handset. A nice touch is the new charger, as it has a standard USB port, so you can use it for more than charging your phone.
We’re not huge fans of the micro USB port that Sony Ericsson has decided to use on the Xperia X2, especially as the cables are much more expensive than the much more readily available mini USB cables.
