Due to an unspecified software issue, Sony Ericsson has decided to pull its new flagship handset, the Satio, off the market in the UK for the time being until the problem has been rectified.
According to Sony Ericsson only a “small number of users” are affected by what the company is calling a poor user experience. It’s not exactly clear what the issue is, but the handset has been put on hold for now.
Sony Ericsson is working on correcting the issue which is meant to only affect handsets in the UK, which seems like a very unusual software problem to us. Even more so that only some handsets are affected. A software update should be released to remedy the problem, but there’s no word as to when this will happen.
