More upcoming Intel Arrandale CPU's revealed

intel-logoJudging by the amount of CPU's Intel is getting ready to launch early next year for its mobile platform, it seems like we can expect a rather quick shift away from Intel's current Core 2 platform. Intel will have at least four mainstream Arrandale based CPU's ready for January of next year, with more to follow.

The CPU's revealed by Digitimes include two Core i5 parts and two Core i3 parts. The Core i5 models are the 520M and 430M while the Core i3 models consists of the 350M and 330M. All four models features 3MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 35W.

The Core i5 430M is said to operate at 2.26GHz with a Turbo Boost speed of 2.53GHz on a single core. The Core i3 350M operates at the same 2.26GHz but lacks Turbo Boost support alongside with the Core i3 330M, which is clocked at 2.13GHz. There's no word on potential clock speeds for the Core i5 520M.

The mobile Core i5/i3 processors all come with integrated graphics and the GPU has a base clock speed of 500MHz. The Core i5 models can boost this to 766MHz while the Core i3 models are limited to 667MHz. All models supports DDR3 memory with speeds of up to 1,066MHz.

Intel is expected to launch another six mainstream mobile CPU's in the third quarter of next year, although very little is known about these models except for the fact that some of them will carry the Pentium brand.
