PCWorld and UberGizmo have published brief previews of Mobinnova’s N910 smartbook. The N910 is based on Nvidia’s Tegra chip and offers an 8.9-inch touch screen among its features.
The Tegra processor used in the N910 should be the faster of the two modes, the Tegra 650, which is clocked at 750MHz. We’re not sure how much memory Mobinnova is intending to supply, nor how much internal storage there will be. However, the N910 does have an SD card slot that can be used to upgrade the onboard storage with.
Connectivity wise the N910 has a pair of USB 2.0 ports, two audio jacks, an HDMI port and a special connector for a break-out cable that adds a D-sub and Ethernet port, all neatly hidden behind the flip down battery that is part of the N910′s distinctive design. It does of course also feature built in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and it has a 1.3 Megapixel webcam.

The Mobinnova N910 is projected to cost under $200, although this will most likely be with a mobile data contract tie-in as the N910 features a built in 3G modem. In spite of its ridiculously low price, both previews are pretty positive. The Tegra CPU makes short work of 720p video and tackles image browing and manipulation with ease.
Battery life seems to be pretty good. Nvidia is promising around 10 hours of run time. At under $200 all this sounds great. Unfortunately, many consumers won’t consider smartbooks as they are simply too used to XP or Vista, and ARM chips can’t run either.
