A quick hands on video with the LG Optimus Pad which packs a Tegra 2 processor and Android 3.0 also known as Honeycomb. It’s a very slick tablet in use, although it didn’t feel quite ready for prime time yet, but it’s clear that Android 3.0 has been designed for tablet use, unlike Android 2.2 which is found on many early Android tablet.
One unusual feature of the Optimus Pad is the twin cameras around the back that allows for 3D video recording, although you’ll need a pair of anaglyphic (red/green) glasses to watch the end result. Otherwise the Optimus Pad doesn’t really add anything all that different compared to its competitors, but it shows that LG is set on bringing out a range of Android devices outside of its phones.
