Acer E1, C1 and L1 on pre-order
It appears that Clove has put up the entire range of Acer's Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets for pre-order and helpfully provided the full specifications for the E1, C1 and L1, on top of the F1 we reported about earlier.
We're going to try and break down the three handset models here, although Clove seems to have mixed up the pictures, as on their product pages the E1 and C1 have the same pictures, although the two are fairly similar in terms of design.
Looking at the specifications, the two handsets are nearly identical, as both sports 3.2-inch WQVGA touch screens (that should be 400x240 pixels), a 528MHz Qualcomm 7225 processor, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, A-GPS, a 2 Megapixel camera and a micro SD card slot. We're missing WiFi here on the spec list which is a bit of a shame.
What sets the two models apart is that the C1 comes with 900 and 2,100MHz 3G with HSPA data support, although we're not quite sure at what speed at the moment. Both handsets offer quad-band GSM support.

Both models weighs in at 118g and measures 113x56x12.8mm (HxWxD) and come with a 1,140mAh battery. The E1 is priced at £182.85 (€202/$299) while the C1 is a much steeper £241.50 (€267/$395) which seems like a huge jump for the addition of 3G connectivity.
The L1 is quite a different beast, as this is a slider with a numerical keypad. It has the same basic specs as the C1, but gets Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and a 3 Megapixel camera. The L1 measures 110x53.5x15.4mm (HxWxD) and weighs in at a fairly heavy 146g with the same battery as the E1 and C1. The L1 will set you back £258.75 (€286/$423).
All handsets will of course come with Windows Mobile 6.5 and Acer has also installed its own photo album software and Google maps.
