Acer beTouch E100 hands on pictures

thumb_beTouch_E100_1At yesterday's Windows Phone launch in Taipei, Taiwan, we managed to snap a few pictures of Acer's upcoming beTouch E100 handset, although in this case it was just a dummy sample, rather than the real deal which was disappointing.

We really expected Acer to have fully working hardware to show by now, especially as the handset has already gone on sale. The dummy unit had a black fascia with white sides and back, although there seems to be versions that are entirely black.

Despite running Windows Mobile 6.5, it seems like Acer has seen fit to include a stylus which is suggesting that the touch screen isn't all that suitable for use with your fingers, but with the NeoTouch working quite well, we'll just have to wait and see until we get some hands on time with the handset before we make a judgement.

You can find more details about the beTouch E100 in our news post about it which you can find here, although at the time the handset was known as the C1.
