A quick hands on video with the LG Optimus Pad which packs a Tegra 2 processor and Android 3.0 also known as Honeycomb. It’s a very slick tablet in use, although it didn’t feel quite ready for prime time yet, but it’s clear that Android 3.0 has been designed for tablet use, unlike Android 2.2 which is found on many early Android tablet.
This is a quick preview video of an Intel MeeGo tablet and a quick walk through of the new panels UI that Intel has developed for the platform. It’ll take some getting used to, as it works very differently from your average tablet OS. We should be seeing MeeGo tablets later this year running on Intel’s Oaktrail Atom platform which should be announced sometime in Q2 this year.
